Hi

I have seen from the list of phones that can and can't be unlocked, that the Nokia 1112 is not easy to unlock, as it is ASIC 11. Perhaps someone can help me to understand this a bit better

1) What is it about ASIC 11 that makes it harder to unlock?

2) Because it can only be unlocked by a shop/pro, does that mean that it needs to be 'plugged in' and unlocked physically, or can a code be generated somehow (eg does the unlocker have to physically have the phone with him when he unlocks it)

3) Is this the way all phones are going (are they going to be getting more difficult to unlock)?

I'd appreciate any explanations so I can get my head around why these phones are more tricky to unlock

Many thanks
