It is possible some of the verbatim dvd disks are made by Taiyo Yuden?

I have bought dvd disks brand verbatim but I checked with dvd idendifier it said manufactured from taiyo yuden...

Any comments please..

Yeah, those are the only discs I use ;-)

However, they're usually only available in the UK (where I'm from), so if you're British too, then it figures. Very good discs - a favourite of one of your moderators here too!

I have some Verbatim Taiyo Yuden disks, too....... I'm in the USA and they WERE available here about 2-3 yrs ago! Wish they were still available here! It was easy to just run to the stores and buy them. I have to order Taiyo Yuden online and wait for delivery..... that's why I buy 200 at a shot!

well one could always Cheat? Buy some taiyo Yuden Thermal Silver shiny's & a thermal Printer and write Verbatim on them in bold black Letters VERBATIM !!!! - Viola ! Verbatim Taiyo yudens LOL!!!!!!! - I guess it's a Bragging Rights & panache Thing except For The Lucky few Like the Creakster !!!! that are U.K'.'ers & can get the Mythical Verbatims By Taiyo yuden !!!! anytime ! ( yes I know they do exist !!!) Poetic liscense !!!!!!! But personally I don't care if the label surface says Sony , Fuji , or Nothing at all as long as the disc are genuine Taiyo Yuden !!! all else being equal ( comparing same speeds and media codes ) a taiyo yuden is a taiyo yuden no matter who slaps their name on it's surface !!!! & yes I also understand That there are Two lines of taiyo Yuden Value line & premium !
