DVDs Too Skinny?

Hey guys / gals, when i burn avis to dvd using Nero Vision, they play fine and quality is good, but the picture is too skinny, meaning the black bars at top and bottom are too big. if that makes sense? any ideas how to fix this?

Try changing the aspect ratio in Vision to 4:3. Just my experience - 9 times out of 10 this option doesn't convert it to full screen but it may help 'unskinny' the dvd.
In Vision click on more>video options>dvd-video tab to change the aspect ratio.
