I've been hanging around this site for a while (I love this place), but this is my first post.

I want to get an HD receiver for my Directv service and ota digital. I'm not sure what features I should look for in a receiver. I've noticed that all of the offerings from Directv are for an Mpeg 4 receiver, to be able to receive local HD channels on the dish. I'm not really interested in HD locals on the dish since I will be able to get them for free ota. Should I be looking for a different type of receiver?
