Update: I have read through all the stickys and i still have the same problem. All my downloads are sticking or staying around 6 kBs and if i have a lucky chance for it to go to 20 kBs it goes right back down to 0 kBs. I used to have speeds around or about 70/80 kBs before i reformated my pc a couple of days ago and thought it was because of the newer version of BitComet after looking about the site so deleted the new version and re-downloaded 0.70 (i think it was 0.70 i had before i reformated my pc, i downloaded BitComet around june 2006, so would it of been 0.70 i had?) Any with 0.70 i still have the same problem and at this rate it will take me 2 days to download a 1 GB file!

What is port-forwarding, sorry for this newbie queston. My speeds went up to 30 kB/s at midnight last night so maybe thinking it could of been with the primetime net users because now its back down again!

Does the amount of seeders also effect the download speed?

thanks
