Why no more Panasonic DVRs?

I have a e85. The first one I bought tossed a U99 in the first month, so I returned it and bough a second. It has been going strong for 3 years.

I was just looking at the Panasonic site, but there are no more DVD recorder-PVR's in their lineup. They sell their DVD recorders as being able to record TV, so obviously they don't have copyright concerns (unless they are adding some copy protection to the burned discs).

Anyone know what happened to this whole DVR product line?
