iTunes will not detect my iPod?!?

I looked all over Apple's site, but I can not fix this problem:

When I connect my iPod video to my Windows XP MCE computer, iTunes will not detect it; instead, the New Found Hardware Wizard opens, saying: "This wizard helps you install software for: iPod" So, I run the wizard, and low-and-behold, it finds NO drivers.

I tried reinstalling iTunes, but no luck.

I feel like such a idiot, because I can't work a iPod.

A little help for a n00b?

Right now, its not the itunes, its the computer not installing the ipod. If the ipod doesnt install, it wont be detected by it. On fixing this, I do not know, it should install it itself. If it came with a CD, install whatevers on the CD.
