Hi,I purchased my Samsung Model # HLN5065W1X approximately 3 years ago. I have just replaced the lamp last month (second time in three years), and now this problem has started to occur. I would appreciate your help in solving this problem.

When the set is turned on after approx. 45 min the beap sound hears and the picture starts to flicker and becomes darker and then shuts off the set. lamp and sound are all still running. I know there is protection built into the set which is a good thing.

I cleaned out the fans to remove any dust that might be restricting air flow. Then after a month the above problem started. I had a service man came to the house and he didn't even look inside the set, he said it's the digital board and it would be $500 for the board and $300 to install.
He didn't even open the set up and this bothered me, so I purchased a new digital board from Samsung parts for $300 plus shipping. This did not fix the problem.

My friend told me to replace the lamp. Although its working but still have to replace.

Please do suggest me whether I have to replace the lamp or is there any other fault?
I would appreciate any kind of help with this problem.
