Sorry.. what's not working.. the game or swapmagic?

That game is reported to work with swapmagic3.3

Are you using the right swapmagic disk?

@CycloneEX: Your question (and situation) is quite confusing.

A save file is a file that resides on your memory card and saves certain statistics for a given game. This allows you to load those statistics within the game and start, essentially, from where you left off. Downloading one of these from the internet is legal, but it must transferred to the memory card through a network connection, uLaunchElf, etc.

A back-up disc would be a copy of a game disc, which can be played on a PS2 granted you have some means to load such a disc. Downloading a back-up from the internet is illegal, but obtained legally, you should be able to load it with Swap Magic or some alternative means.

So the question is... what exactly are you trying to do? Sounds more like it's leaning towards a back-up of a game and not a save file...

okeys.. heres the way we used to do it back when.

find a ps2 original.. make an exact 1-1 copy with alcohol120% or clonedvd..

then use your swapmagic dvd disk.. wait for it to load and the disk will stop spinning at the screen that says "load game".. If you have a slimline you should have the switches held down some way.. if a big ps2 then have fun with the slide tool (how I hate those horrid things.. I take the top off and get the magnet bit out of the lid.. then I never have to press eject)
Change the swapmagic disk for your backup that you have just made and press the button it says to for boot.

For things you have downloaded.. they can be a bit strange. You need to know what a ps2 disk file system looks like if you don't want to burn lots of coasters.

(should be cryptic enough)
