Product: Mybook 500g Essential Edition

Mission: To drag 1 four gig file onto my
Mybook for backup. It's an MKV file.

Error: Tells me my Mybook is full and for me
to clean up so that I may add more files.

My Problem: I still have 435 gigs left.

Please help where you can.

Is it formatted with FAT32?
If so, you need to reformat it with NTFS to be able to store files larger than 4GB. Doing this will wipe the drive of it's data, so back up what's on it first.
