Hi, I've got evox build 3921.
I have lost all the menu items from e and f under games and apps.
I can connect with ftp, but can only see items on c & e.
Here is my evox.ini
Any help is appreciated.
Cheers
Sid

Looks pretty messed up to me..
Lots of small faults. Have you been manually editing it? If so did you save a backup first?
What is exactly the issue? You can't find the folders over network connection, or they are not on the xbox dash?
Usually if they aren't there it means either there is a fault in the evox.ini file before it gets to setting up the items menu, or the items really don't exist.
Remember evox.ini is a linux .xml file and is case sensitive.
relevant bits from a softmod evox.ini

hi,
Both - I can't see any partition other than C & E with ftp prog from my pc. (IPswitch)
and I get no items in the apps games sub menus i evox dash.
I've downloaded an evox.ini from the net and tried that, same result.
I'm not sure if my daughter played with things she shouldn't have, could it be that the disk has been locked ? - I've got a 200Gb.
Cheers

Hi,
I just set the log destination for unlock disk as f:\unlock.log in evox.ini - then I unlocked the disk with the evox menu "unlock disk" item. It wrote to the file unlock.log on disk f and I can see the file from my pc with ftp.
Still nothing else is visible with ftp from my pc - xmbc, apps, games etc
Now the disk is unlocked.

Help please -------
Still not working,
It seems that the xbox and ftp can't read the "f" partition, no AutoAddItem for f seems to return anything.
I tried with a minimal evox.ini eg: only
Section "Root"
{
Section "Applications"
{
SortStart
AutoAddItem "e:\Apps\"
AutoAddItem "f:\Apps\"
AutoAddItem "g:\Apps\"
SortEnd
}
}
no luck here either.
Is it posible to erase everthing from f partition from the xbox - I don't think my daughter would do that but ?
If it is erased what do I do now - is it to just install xbmc and everything works or ?
Any help would be appreciated.
/Sid

Looks a little like somebody has deleted lots of things. It is possible to actually delete a whole drive like F:
You should consider setting a password, or not having tools with delete/format capabilities available from the main dash.
Try running your installer disk again and reinstall all the apps.. while you are at it try just enabling the F: drive, but don't format it.
If you still have the folders E:\tdata and udata back them up.. keep your saves and soundtracks at least.
