I used the search function and didnt find anybody else with my problem, so here goes. I just upgraded from Nero 7 Essentials to Nero 7 Ultra Edition. I opened Nero StartSmart Essentials and attempted to open the ProductSetup, it wont open. I clicked on the flame logo and it doesnt do anything, so now I cant input my new serial number that I purchased. The only method, that I can see, to contact Nero Support is e-mail. I sent an email four days ago and havent heard back. So any help would be appreciated.

Try doing a clean install of Nero - uninstall Nero using the clean tool.
Download and install the trial version - link.
When you get to the install part about the name, company (can leave blank) and serial # - delete the one that's in there and type in the your new serial #. You won't have the trial and you'll have the full retail version.

Excellent, thank you. I am actually running Nero 7 Ultra now. I can transcode all of the video, but now it gives me an error during the burning process.

Not a problem :)
Now to your burn error - post the log and we'll take a peek.
If you didn't save it look here: document and settings>owner (or whatever the pc name is)>application data>ahead>burning rom>nerohistory
If you can't find it there just do a windows search for nerohistory.

Yep you got it right.
Here's some suggestions:
Recorder: <LITE-ON DVDRW LH-16W1P> Version: SL02
Update the firmware to the latest - SL08
Disc Manufacturer ID: CMC MAG,
Not the best media. Switch to Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim or made in japan Sony, Fuji or Maxell.
Burn process failed at 16x
Take the burn speed down to 8x.
Give that a go and let us know.
