hi guys if someone know the mms sittings for t- mobile
Hi guys i got the cect p168 but i have a problem try to send pictures by mms to another phone it say error in communication if someone know something let me know thanks.

Connection Oriented:
216.155.165.050
save it and activate profile, and that it now you can send pictures, hope this help you guys good look.

Someone please help. I have this phone and have messed with the settings so much and I cannot recieve picture messages or videos. And is there any way to go to the full sized internet and not just the mobile version?? Please help I'm so stressed! thanks for responding to my request but it still does not work.i might be doing something wrong but dont know what.is there any way this can be broken down further please. I still get message Download failed when i try to recieve or send

I am able to recieve MMS but not send, any help? When I try to send it just stays at 99% for awhile then says unable to connect or something like that. Thanks!

Hi All
These are the exact settings that I received via email from T-Mobile (usa) cut and pasted:
Data Account Setup:
From the Main Menu select > Services > Data Account > GPRS
Scroll to an empty account (IE: Account 8) and select Edit
Set Account Name to T-Mobile Internet
Set APN to internet2.voicestream.com
Leave Username and Password blank
Press Done
Select Yes to Save
WAP Profile Setup:
From the Main Menu select > Services > WAP > Settings
Select Edit Profile
Scroll to an empty profile (IE: Profile 8) and select Edit Profile
Set Profile Name to T-Mobile Internet
Set Homepage to http://www.t-mobile.com
Select Data Account > GPRS > T-Mobile Internet
Set Connection Type to HTTP
Leave Proxy blank
Leave Port blank
Leave Username and Password blank
Press Done
When Prompted to Save select Yes
Scroll to T-Mobile Internet and select Activate Profile
To Access the Browser:
From the Main Menu select > Services > WAP
Select Homepage to bring up the homepage
Select Enter Address to browse other pages
To setup Picture Message (MMS)
Create Data Account
Select Menu
Select Services
Select Data Account
Select GPRS
Choose an empty profile
Account Name enter T-Mobile WAP
Press Options
Press Done
APN enter wap.voicestream.com
Press Options
Press Done
User Name <Blank>
Password <Blank>
Auth. Type choose Normal
Press Done
Press Save
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Create Profile
Select Menu
Select PIM
Select Messages
Select MMS
Select Message Setting
Select Server Profile
Select a Profile
Select Edit Profile
Select a profile
Choose Edit Profile
Rename Profile enter T-Mobile MMS
Homepage enter http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
Press Options
Press Done
Data Account select GPRS
Select T-Mobile WAP
Connection Type select HTTP
Proxy Address enter 216.155.165.050
Port enter 8080
User Name <Blank>
Password <Blank>
Press Done
Activate the profile
Hope this helps, it worked perfectly for me
(NOTE... leave the proxy and port at zeros unless told to enter anything by the instructions, which only says so for WAP setup for mms. VERY IMPORTANT. Also the Sidekick internet account well NOT work for this.)

i just got a cect p168 and my husband sent me a picture thru mms and it will not let me retrieve it. ive already set up the WAP for tmobile if that has anything to do with it. can someone please help me. my email is msjessicajohnson@yahoo.com. thanks also whats the proxy ip for?
