M3 Pro,alternate way to boot roms?

Ok some months ago my M3 pro lost the icons for game and pda I think.I couldn't ifnd a solution so I said forget it.Months later I remember I could put music on it so I did,but the music tab didn't show anything.I had to go to extend,then my disk and I could listen to the music there.

This method doesn't work for roms though.I've tried getting the icons back by changing the background and having the latest firmware on my mini sd card.Nothing works,Is there another way to boot roms on the card like there is music?

Or perhaps someone has a solution on how to get my icons back to a selectable status.
