i am currently using utorrent to download files..recently due to some prblms i need to format my pc...the problem is that there are various unfinished downloads in utorrent..and it wud be share waste if i format my pc now..so is there any way that i could resume these unfinished downloads after i load a fresh copy of windows after formatting my pc..plz help...

I did this with Azureus and it auto recognized the torrents in the default directory and I assume uTorrent would do the same.
You need to have the .torrent files as well as the data files.
So you would need to copy these for re-installation.

But, just in case, this page from uTorrent on migrating files from other clients should cover it(if uTorrent does not auto recognize): uTorrent Migration Guide.
