Hi to all, I need your help again

I attempt to play online games on my pc.. call of duty, united offensive.

But I would like to upgrade my graphics card
the card I have at present is ASUS ENG6200TC512

I have a about £100 to spend,
There are so many cards on offer.

I have a PCI mother board and an AMD SEMPRON 3000+ processor
if that helps

thanks once again

You would get alot better response in the "other PC hardware" forum than the Nero forum.

Is your 6200 an AGP or PCI express card?
If PCI express, go for something like this

This'll mince any online games you throw at it.

Would the CPU not bottleneck that card?

In truth yes, but unless it's a socket 939 board, there's very little else that can be done for that budget. Getting a CPU better than that one AND another GPU for under £100 wouldn't be easy, and if it's a socket 754 board he has, it'd be near impossible, because he'd have to get a new motherboard as well.

I guess it would depend, but I suppose he might also need a new PSU to power that card, depending on which one he has now.

Good point, is the PC custom made or pre-built?
