Gah!

Couple of things: I stupidly brought my phone to a cellphone shop earlier today, they said they unlocked it, its not and now it seems to "flash" a white screen every couple of seconds. Anyone heard about this?

Also, I'd like to try to unlock it myself (maybe--although i doubt it--this will help with the white flash):
