heya, i have an:
intel tj-845 gl with award bios
1 gb of ddr1 ram
64mb inbuilt graphics card
2.26ghz cpu

im trying to over clock the cpu to anything bigger.... how do i do that? i tryed modifying the fsb but that made it smaller, not bigger. help... plz

Umm you can't overclock with intel motherboards.

Yeah probably. Even if you can get a Intel motherboard that can overlock(there aren't very many out there) you would only get a 5% overclock, so it's not worth it. Still if you want to still do it, you can overclock it through windows.

I don't know what you would overclock for, even if you could. That onboard video chip isn't going to cut much, if you are into gaming.

No, you're best off with a real video card.

wat would be the best motherboard be that is under $150 be, with your experience
(with a pci express slot)

I'm guessing you have a P4? You would be better off just upgrading the CPU and the motherboard.

Where? newegg.com is a good place. Were you wanting to upgrade the CPU as well? I recommend you go with a core 2 duo, and get a Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3, which is around a 100 dollars.

Yeah but your performance will go through the roof. Over clocking that P4 isn't going to help all that much since the CPU is outdated.

You'll probably want to wait for the price drops on the 8800 GTS. It's about 250 bucks right now, but it's got the best bang for the buck.

Yeah it's DirectX 10 so you don't have to worry about the newer games coming out.

Nvidia 8800 GTS.
