i have spysweeper and it expired and now i have this virus called virtumonde and i dont know what to do

Download these Virtumondo removal programs I have run them and let me know if it solves your problem. Also post a HiJack this log if you could. And if all fails and we can't get rid of Virtumondo for you there is always the hard way or removing it :P

Hi, I have the same problem (at least that trojan virumonde is detected by spyware doctor, although it can not remove it completely). I have a thread: "I have a trojan that doesn't go away with norton AV or with spydoctor" and I am receiving good advises to solve that. Amazingly, the recommended AVG antivirus (free) is detecting a lot of virus and several trojans that my Norton AV or the Spyware doctor were not detecting. I made a test to detect and remove a trojan that norton could not remove (as this program was a.dll extension in process) and AVG did it at once...
I think you can get more and better help if you post a HIJACKTHIS log. This way you can receive specific advise for your problem. Good luck!
