Nero Vision 3 not accepting disc

Hello, ive recently acquired nero vision 3, and for some reason, it wont accept the dvd-r disc that i try to write to.
Does anybody know whats wrong, and if possible, what to do to allow nero to burn to this disc.


p.s. im a noob/idiot when it comes to this, so please dont say something too complicated

Hi bksarim
Did you save the log file from Nero? They can be helpfully in trying to sort this out.
If not check and see if Nero saved it (usually does by default). Here's a link on where to find them and how to post them - link
