Well copying DVD movies you have rented is illegal. It writes that both on the DVD case and the warning screen when the movie starts.

You can only back-up a movie when you have bought it.

And when you do get your own copy of the movie, you can use DVD Decrypter to rip it to your hard drive. Then use something like DVD2One if it's too large to fit on one disc.
Then Nero to burn.

Since you obviously didn't bother to read the rules, you can find them here:
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/2487

5. -> PIRACY AND LINKING TO PIRATED MATERIAL IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED, YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE FROZEN IF YOU DO THIS <-

This rule isn't arbitrary, it's to avoid legal problems. Regardless of the reason, you aren't paying to keep Afterdawn running, and if you can't follow the rules set down by the owner, feel free to set up your own forum where you can allow anything you want.

well atleast you apologize, thats the first step, second step is to read those rules two more times. and after that, and when you have purchase "YOUR" movies, you can back them up with --Clone dvd-- along with --Any Dvd--, both programs work great together, actually they have to run together. they have worked perfectly for me all the time. i have windows xp and a tadk420n writer works like a piece of jlo's ass.

I need help. So please stop being greedy and give a hand to those who only have one.
