Please Help!! I installed oblivion on my pc, and every time I try to load the game, before it even trys to load it gives me the error Oblivion has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. The only thing I can get is the launch window!

My specs are as follows. Please let me know if any one out there can help.. I know my processor isn't up to par, but I have even tried oldblivion, and I get the same thing on loading.

Your computer cant play it, its to slow... Sorry.

I may be wrong, but a x1650 for oblivion is cutting it very short. Try reinstalling the game and see if that helps?

Even if you can run it, you'd need the settings down pretty low to get an alright frame rate, check out "Oldblivion", it's a patch that makes Oblivion be able to run with slower/older computers (The graphics will be compromised though).

I have already tried oldblivion, and that loaded fine, but when it came time to launch oblivion it did the same old crash with the same old message. I do realize that I wont be able to play oblivion with the best of graphics, but what I really need to know is why it wont load in the first place!
