My backup games wont run on my Hitachi drive!

Hey.

I have a xbox, which has a Hitachi drive, and is modified (Dont know what firmware, a friend did it for me for about 18 months ago)

Backup and downloaded games wont start, the screen goes black and i get a error message like this; "your disk is dirt ...."

I have flashed my Dvd burner and i have choosen it to burn dvd+r dl to dvd-rom, i have tried to burn with both clonecd and dvd decrypter!

My computers specs:

Windows Vista
Nec AD-7173

Can someone please help, i have wasted alot of disks now!
