Importing Songs back into iTunes

Hi,

I just changed notebooks and need to move my music library across to my new one. When I did this last time I copied all the "FXX" folders into a directory on my desktop and then simply imported the folder into iTunes - all good.

This tijkme when I do the same thing I can copy the files but when I "import folder" nothing happens, no music is added to iTunes. I can add a track at a time and it all works fine. Any ideas on how I can get this to work?
