I've got a movie that is in avi format. I'm trying to encode it to DVD using CCE and DVDlab Pro. Here's what happens. I usually use CCE to extract the audio file from the avi, but when I try it on this one, the audio track is just blank. So I used the "transcode audio" tool in DVDlab to extract audio to mp2 file, which worked fine. However, when I use the mpv file created by CCE with the mp2 and create the DVD, the audio is out of sync. I used the audio delay tool and got it in sync. But after it plays through a few more frames it goes back out of sync. Used AOA Audio extractor with same results. Could it be some frame rate problem? The avi is 23.97fps and I tried encoding with 23.97 and 29.97, used DGPulldown, and BeSweet to change audio frame rate and everything.It even goes out of sync when encoding the avi with ConvertXtoDVD. The avi plays fine in all my media players and I have what seems like every codec installed. Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks Mystic. Sorry for the late reply. I'll try it, but the avi file is not the problem, it's completetly in sync. It's just when I throw the encoding arsenal at it, it goes out of sync. Do you think the AVI Mux will still work. I'll give it a shot anyway and any other suggestion are welcomed. Thanks again Mystic.

You sure about that? And yes, I did read and understand your post. It's easy enough to try. Just Add the AVI, click Generate and Start (save it) with a new name. You can also use it to fix and combine multiple part AVIs into one.
Here's one that played right as an AVI but was off when converted. All good now.
Alright Mystic, I hate to say I told you so..So I won't because you were right. But now I have another problem. The resulting avi will encode through ConvertXtoDVD, but when I use either ProCoder or CCE paired with The FilmMachine, before it burns to DVD, it gives me an error saying "the resulting DVD is less than 1MB, continue to burn anyway." Of course I choose no. I'd rather use CCE or Procoder rather than ConvertXtoDVD. Any suggestions?
I think I figured it out Mystic. I tried AVI2DVD and it didn't work, it was out of sync by about 3 seconds (with the new avi) and video result was choppy. I used CCE independently from FilmMachine using the new avi made by avi-mux. Used DGPulldown and DVD-Lab Pro to mux and compile DVD. Worked like a charm. Thanks for all your help.
