ok i bought a laptop a few weeks ago, this is the specs:
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Edition 6.0.6000
Computer Type: ACPI x86-based PC
DirectX: 4.09.00.0904 (DirectX 9.0c)
CPU Type: Mobile DualCore Intel Merom, 1666 MHz (10 x 167)
System Memory: 1024 MB
Video Adapter: GeForce 8400M GS

i borrwed bioshock from a friend and it has the games files and has a readme file:
1. Install:
"DirectX 9c (2007)"
"Microsoft Visual x86"
2. Run 'darkcoder.reg' file
3. Run Game ["Bioshock\Builds\Release\Bioshock.exe"]

i did everything it the readme and the menues work but when i click on start game and the the starting titles come up it just crashes, please help!

i work fine and my friend's laptop
