I've had some problems with some dell hardware. I've had trouble turning on two of my items from dell. They're a laptop and a projector. Both are pretty old (1998-ish), and they seem to have similar problems. They will occasionally turn on, but it helps if you leave it plugged in for awhile, and then hit the on button, as opposed to just plugging in the thing and turning it on. However, sometimes neither of them like to turn on at all. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix this? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Oh and by the way, the projector is old, but we only started using it recently, so we're not sure why it has gotten this problem sudddenly.
