Can I "Install" Codec Packs for XBMC?

I LOVE XBMC, but sometimes I get files that will work on my PC but Refuse to work on Xbmc, I am gessing this is a codec issue, and was wondering if some way (either Auto or Manually) that I can install a "Codec Pack"
