i have sims 2 i used to work fine with my old monitor but my step dad brute a new lcd monitor now en i play sims 2 the monitor cuts out saying no signal it dos this with both analog and digital more often with digital but it dosent happen with any other game and it i tride turning the garffics down and it steal dosent work
(ps sory for bad speling)

I use a huge 31" LCD Screen. But it can not take more than 1024x768. It says signal lost if i increase the resolution. Maybe you have the same problem.

What video card do you have, and do you have the latest Direct x installed?

i woldent have a clue what vido card i have but its a prty carp 1 im gesing thats me prob cos turing the resalushon down dosent work and i think i got direct X 9

I'm guessing that prty carp 1 = pretty crappy one?

Try checking if you PC's earthing is proper. (ie) do you feel any shock when you run your comp for a long time?If so then it would really damage your system. Or just check the basics, if you have plugged in the VGA plug properly, lose connecting could be the problem
