I have a Sony VHS-DVD recorder model # RDR-VX515. After trying to copy a non-copyrighted VHS tape to the DVD it will only play back in select DVD players. So, in trying to make it more compatible with the majority of DVD players I have tried to rip and re-burn this DVD using various software (DVDNEXTCOPY, NERO, Etc)to attempt to break it down and rebuild whatever format it was originally burned in by the Sony. This has not worked all that well. I did have a little luck using DVDNEXTCOPY but as I gained some DVD players I lost others so not really any help there. This is originally a home video of a trip many friends and I went on and they would all like a copy of the DVD that of course will work on their DVD players. Also if I have this in the wrong section of the forum, please advise and I will delete and move it.
