Madden NFL 08 cheap/dummy downed junk game?

Is it me or has Madden 08 been dummy downed in the overall game from last year?

I noticed they don't have the beginning video where players and fans say "its in the game" (which is gay anyways), but also when you select "Controller Layout" it can't be changed to what you like. Its just set as a default, how retared!

What the hell, anyone see different and other bad things????
