ok...i have a 40 gb hd. all one partition....is there any free program out there that can get me to have 2 partitions? or do i even neeed a program to make a partition?

for some reason that wont work...when i go into computer management and right click on my drive (c)i can't make a new partition...do i have to have unallocated space or anything like that?

Without a format C:, or a program like Partition Magic, there is no way that you are going to create a partition on a hard drive that has been formatted and has data on it.

ok....i got it all figured out...i was able to get the iso for partition magic and got it to partition it... :)
