Hi there, I'm trying to backup Black Book (new release - wwii), and Anydvd (6.1.8.4) wasn't able to remove the protection. As this is the first time I haven't been able to copy something with the updated version of anydvd I figured I'd come here and ask if anyone has any ideas.
On a side note, I used to use Shrnk & DVD Decrypter (I don't even have them any more), but found that anydvd & dvd clone were very easy, and I didn't mind paying to support a decent product.
Edit: I downloaded DVDFab HD. Yet that wouldn't rip the files to my HD. They did give me the option to submit the info to DVDfab, but I don't have my laptop connected to the net.
i used DVDFab for this, a few versions (of DVDFab) ago. It had no problems with this (excellent) movie. I'm Region 2 but i've not read anything anywhere about problems with this movie. I take it you're using a fairly up to date version of DVDFab ?
Yeah, I had downloaded whatever the lastest version was. I've been on slysoft's forums, and will be submitting the info to them to see if there's an issue with anydvd, or if there's a different type of copy protection on the disk.
