Dynex 50-pack is the usual $8.99 (Made in China with AML and UME codes, although you might get lucky and find some with fake MCC codes).
Sony 25-packs at Circuit City are $6.99, good for a price match at Staples or Sears on Sony MIJs which are TY (Sony 8x +R MIJ are all YUDEN000 T02).
K-Mart has Sony 50-packs for $14.99 (note that a lot of the DVD-Rs are now Made in Malaysia).
Staples has their 50-pack house brand with a free 128mb flash drive for $14.98 (MIT -R = CMC MAG AM3 = Good Media; MIT +R = CMC MAG M01 = Not So Good Media; they also have some that are Made in India by Moser Baer).

I'm good for a while lol. I picked up the Verbs from Office Max last week (100 spindle for 24.99). I also picked up the Verb DLs from Best Buy.
I've never been to a black friday sale. I can't bring myself to get up insanely early and then wait online to enter the store. We'll see what the sales are...

I thought CompUSA went out of business. I know ours here in the northern VA area have closed down.

Sears will have a Black Friday sale on Mexell 25 packs. $6.99 each.
Just got the Microcenter ad in the mail. Good until 11/11/07. Verbatim + or - R 100 packs $25.98 each!! I'm still stocked up (6 hundred packs left) from the Officemax sale. As my DVD recorder (hooked up to the cable DVR)is burning lots of discs (about 20 per week) I may go ahead & grab the Verbs from Microcenter while the sale lasts. Used to buy the 4x Verb white inkjet printables but with 16x Verbs being so low lately then why bother? Go for the 16x verb sales!!
Good news!! the 100 pack Verbs are on sale for the same $25.88 price online at the microcenter web site also but then you have to add shipping (& maybe tax depending on where you live) on the order.
