Hello my laptop has been fine for the last 3 years i have:
Zonealarm
Avg
Spybot s&d
installed on my os xp. And all up to date.

Then today i turned in the laptop and a box keeps coming up saying

"svchost.exe application error
and press ok to terminate" but it keeps coming up ders a beeping noise every few seconds and i cannot run any programs or do anything.

i managed to run avg but it is very very slow and afer 8 hours only scanned a few thousand files.

Neway any help would be greatly welcomed.
