i burned cd-r with audio files. now i want use lightscribe to put a picture on my disc and also put the songs on it. my qoestion is this. do i have to have a special disc to do lightscribe? i have nero version 7 and i also have just updated it. any help would be appreciated. THANKS

Yes you need a lighscribe disk so the laser can enscribe what you want on the top of the disk. You also need a lightscribe enabled burner.
