wmplayer 11 - connect a burner

Whenever I click burn in wmplayer 11, connect a burner and restart the player appears in the top right hand corner. I have a cdrw/dvd player on my dell 1501 laptop with windows xp and have been using media player to burn cd's until this problem occurred.

I can still use Nero to burn cds but I prefer wmplayer instead. Please tell me what I have to do to fix this problem.
