Nero8 Showtime4 playback problem

My Showtime4 has a problem playing Video_TS files from a folder. Playback from DVD works fine. WMV file works fine.

The problem is that after watching a movie for about 1 minute, the audio starts getting ahead of the video then both audio and video get choppy and start slowing down almost to a stop.

Any ideas? I have tried tweaking nearly every Showtime option withoug any improvement.

Playback in Nero6 worked great. Playback in WinDVD works great. I'm running XP Pro. My cpu, memory, and swap file use are all low.
