I'm getting one of these for a friend for Christmas. I don't own a DS myself, and wanted to know the good/bad on each one.

Which has more codes/saves for it?
Which is most compatible with legal homebrew?
Which lets you cheat with a M3, supercard or other device?
Can you use cheats/saves with online games or only offline?
