Problem with loading dvd into LG RC195 DVD Recorder

Hi,

I have got an LG RC195 DVD Recorder. It used to work fine but now every time I try to load a DVD or CD into it, it almost immediately ejects and does not accept the disk. Then I have to reset the device (pressing power button for 5 sec) and unplug it from the power source for a short while. After that it works fine until I want to eject the disk and load another disk (that needs repeating the above procedure again). Could someone please help me to fix this problem.
