I made a backup of my copy of Guitar Hero 3, I burned at 4X using DVD Decrypter and I used Taiyo Yuden dvds. The game boots up fine on my ps2 however I can't move around the menu when it is finally booted to the starting menu. Any suggestions on what I could do differently. Thanks in advance.

What's your mod situation (mod chip, swap magic, hd etc)?

i have a similar problem, lots of freezing and super long load times with gh3.
it was ripped from my brand new copy of gh3 using dvd decrypter and burnt at 4x on a maxell -r and also on a verbatim +r. both don't work properly.
i have fat ps2, v5, using swap magic and a flip top.
i have used this method for many other games, gh2 , gh 80s, lots of custom versons of gh2 , nhl 07 , etc. all work flawlessly.
any suggestions for getting a good backup copy of gh3?

I've made 2 coasters on this so far too.
1 burned at 4x in DVD decrypter , and 1 at 2x in Nero .
I rebuilt the image too, no luck.
Slow loading times and the game just becomes unplayable with lag and freezing.
Using Swap Magic 3.6
Discs burned onto Verbatim (Taiyo Yuden)
