I GOT A DELL INSPIRON 9400 THAT CAME WITH VISTA, AND THE PROGRAMS I NEED AREN'T COMPATIBLE WITH VISTA, SO I INSTALLED XP PRO AND THEN IT HAPPEN I WAS MISSING A WHOLE BUNCH OF DRIVERS, I HAVE NO SOUND, NEED A High Definition Audio BuS FOR A MODEM AND AUDIO DRIVERS, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING THE NET AND HAD NO LUCK. THANKS FOR READING AND HAVE A GREAT DAY.

First off turn off your caps it's considered yelling.
Second did you check Dell's website for the drivers or try one of their forums?
Third most mfg. are now putting drivers up for XP for those that wish to convert back to XP. I have limited experience with Vista (just got a laptop with vista, ugh) but if i'm not mistaken you can tell it to run a program in a compatibility mode.
