I don't use torrents because I actually buy the games I back-up but doesn't the idea of torrents seem a bit "unsafe" for anyone else? Maybe this is just a noob question but isn't there alot of risk involved downloading games?

If you don't use them and aren't intending to use them to download illegal software then you shouldn't worry m8. ;)

Risk is based on percentages and I think in this case it's very low but not zero.

As far as I know, .torrent are virus free. I could be totally wrong here though:) I have being using them for a while without any problems.

Much better than the ususal P2P networks.

TO BE HONEST WITH YOU AS LONG AS YOU HAVE A GOOD FIRE WALL YOUR ALL SET I OWN THE USB EXTREAM FOR THE PLAYSTATION 2 AND WAS ABLE TO NOT ONLY COPY ORIGINAL GAMES BUT THE ONE DOWNLOADED FROM A TORRENT INCLUDING IMPORT GAMES.NOW I HAVE A QUESTION I WAS ABLE TO DOWNLOAD DRAGON WARS AND IT LOOKS GREAT AND I WAS ABLE TO BURN IT ON A DVD WITH NERO 7 BUT EVERY OTHER MOVIE IVE DOWNLOADED IS ASKING FOR A KEY THAT I FIND SUSPICIOUS DOES ANY ONE KNOW OF A GOOD TORRENT THAT HAS MOVIE LIKE D-WARTHAT DOES'NT NEED A KEY?

not all torrents are virus free . . . it is highly advisable to read user comments for the torrent. users will often comment about anything they find wrong.

but yes, torrents are a lot safer than direct p2p.

also, there is almost 0% chance of getting a fake, since u'll be warned by other users.
