Just bought 20 verbs from svp and so far only 3 have burned corectly, had about 6 coasters. This is the first time i have ever had any problems with verbs ever. I'm using clone cd to burn at 2.4 speed (xbox360) and they seem to burn fine. Did notice on one of the burns that the speed went up at times to about 4x which has only ever happened if i have used cheap disks. They are identified as MKM's. Read somewhere that they have been producing some of these in pakistan and the quality has degraded as a result, can anyone confirm this?
Single layer burn fine so pretty sure its not my burner and all other backups play fine on 360.

Actually Made In India. Check on the wrapper, just above the UPC code, it should say where they were manufactured.

The Made In Singapore 2.4x DL Verbs are becoming scarce, at least for me, in the US. The 2.4x printables though are still Made in Singapore.

You can go with the 8x DL Verbs, they are only made in the Singapore plant as far as I know, but are more expensive.

IMO the characteristics of this MID has changed. Your burner should re-learn this MID and your burns should improve, but it might take 5 discs or so.

Personally, I think the quality of the MII discs is significantly poorer than the MIS discs. I've seen visable production flaws such as uneven dye layers and blemished discs.
