yeah they should the B&M stores have the same price on the DVD plus R media as they do the DVD dash R unlike online where you pay a premium for the plus R format

I tried to buy Sony DVD+R MIJ but all I could find was made in Taiwan. I then tried to find Verbatim made in Taiwan and could only get made in India. Am I looking in the wrong place or are we stuck getting media from these new places and are there any problems?

the MIJ Sony are hard to find, look in the odd places like Sears,K-Mart etc.and most of the newer Verbatim are MII and the MIT are harder to find. I seem to have better luck with the MIT Verbatims but both are good . the best bet in getting Taiyo Yuden is to buy them online

I asked this elsewhere but the question was never answered, is the MID code still the same? If so, makes me wonder, why the new ones would burn better if change seems to be cosmetic?

Mostly in need of verbatim DLs. Didn't see any mention of them for this week.

Last spindle I bought Monday was MIT, haven't opened them yet to check the manufacturer's code. (Old packaging)

- Best Guess maybe they made a minor tweak to the dye ? Not being an expert on that subject ( Or many others for that matter ) That would be my Hypothosis ??????????? That's a big word Hope it's not one of them injection thingies I hate needles !!!!!!!

I went looking for the hard to find MIJ Sony DVD+R. I did find them at my local Meijer and they were only in the 25 pack. Kmart only had MIT.

Microcenter has 16x Verbs on sale. Not sure how long it will last. Get them in store or online. 50 packs are $14.99 & 100 packs are $25.98 each. Choice of + or - R discs.

I was at Best Buy last week and heard someone asking about the Verbs that were on sale. The saleslady said that they were out and to get a raincheck. I really didn't need any at the moment but I decided to get a raincheck also. Now I have 90 days to use my raincheck that's good for up to ten 50 packs of +R 16x Verbs for $12.99 each . . .

16x HP DVD+R are either made by CMag or Philips

$15 for 50 . . . Personally, I'll pass on that. You can get 50 packs of Verbatim for $12.99 + tax ($13.77) at Best Buy when they go on sale . . .
