NV 4's got the jitters

When I use Nero Vision 4 to create a DVD I sometimes get jittery video. It seems to happen when the video is an hour or longer and I insert chapters. The jittery bits seem to occur right around those chapter points.

I recently got VideoRedo TV Suite and tried using it to author DVDs--and no jitters, no matter the length. Even when I used Nero Express or Burning ROM to burn the resulting DVD files to disc.

Obviously, I've found a workaround of sorts, but any ideas why the jitters with NV 4 and how to cure them?
