I have heard rumours that a HP1040e is in fact a Liteon drive. If anyone knows what kind of firmware should be used for crossflashing a HP 1040e to liteon, they would make my day.

I know it a tough one.. Have been searching all over the net, and have come up emptyhanded...

The reason is that HP1040e is a real bastard who deserved to long and slow death. never have I had this much trouble burning images on DVD+R DL..

If anyone can help or just point me in that right direction, it would be awsome..
