I'll buy my HD TV next week and I'm still really doubting between two possible candidates. The purpose of the HDTV would be:
- 70% Gaming (PS3 and Wii)
- 25% watching Blu-ray and HD video on demand
- 5% DVD upscaling

I've seen both at work in the store and I got the distinct feeling that when watching head-on, there isn't much difference between both. However, when looking from a 45° angle, the Panasonic loses no quality whereas the colors of the Sharp look washed out. I couldn't try out gaming with a PS3 at the store, but the Panasonic seems to have the higher contrast ratio.

So, for my needs, which one would be best?
