Well i connected my ipod to my computer and i synced some song then i disconnected (properly) i tried to play the song and it said there is no music on my ipod. what gives. i try to restore and update it but that doesnt work. can somebody please help.

when you said that it didnt work when you restore it, does itunes goes thru the restore process or your ipod does not show on itunes? you can set your ipod to disk mode by holding the menu and center button once the ipod goes black inmediately hold the play and center button, you will see a check mark on the ipod screen, your ipod is now on disk restore mode, you can connect to itunes and restore it. good luck.
