nero8 & nero7 problem

Hi, just wondering if anyone else has encountered problems running both Nero8 & 7.
I have nero8 on my laptop and nero 7 on my main PC.

If I start a multi session disk on the laptop (nero 8) and then want to add to it using my Pc (nero 7) Nero 7 does not display the other sessions that I burnt via the laptop.
If I go ahead and burn anyway via the PC (nero 7) I then can not longer access any of the old stuff burnt using nero 8.

It is almost as though the 2 neros are not compatible.
